One of the most magical evenings I’ve ever experienced as Azzurro Signature Series happened on a private yacht in Marbella, Puerto Banus, along the stunning Costa del Sol. I was invited to perform for a Finnish businessman celebrating his wife’s birthday – she hails from Venezuela, and he wanted to surprise her with something unforgettable.

The atmosphere was breathtaking. Her husband had organised the best thinkable sound system. I sang on deck, with the gentle sea breeze and the golden sunset illuminating the water. She was on the upper deck, completely unaware that a surprise performance awaited her. I started the entire set with her favorite song, "Somos Novios". The moment she heard it, tears welled up in her eyes – pure emotion. She kept requesting more boleros and songs, completely swept away by the music. It was an incredibly romantic and intimate experience.

What made it even more special was the follow-up. After this unforgettable night in Marbella, I had the honor of performing for them more often, including a remarkable evening on the same yacht in Rio de Janeiro during their five-year marriage anniversary. Sharing these Latin bolero classics close to the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema was unforgettable, and it cemented their love for these timeless melodies.

Moments like these remind me why the Luxury Latin Bolero Performance is not just music – it’s an experience, a memory that lingers forever, and a celebration of love across oceans and cultures.

I extended my trip with a few days in São Paulo (and to have a great evening in Bar Brahma!) to feel the wonderful vibe of this vibrant city.
